Job summary

Acoustica Projects Pty Ltd. is seeking a hands-on candidate to join our Annandale-based team in Sydney. You will work alongside trained installers and carpenters to learn specialised acoustic installation techniques and progress into an Acoustic Installer role.

The role offers on-the-job training, exposure to both commercial and residential acoustic projects, and long-term career opportunities within the company.

Qualifications

• Construction White Card is required.
• Full working rights in Australia.
• PPE is required.
• Basic experience with hand and power tools.
• Some experience in construction, labouring or a similar hands-on role.
• Physically capable of performing construction work.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Takes pride in their work.
• Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Willing to learn new skills and installation techniques.

Responsibilities

• Assisting installers with acoustic wall and ceiling systems.
• Installing acoustic panels, insulation and soundproofing materials.
• Assisting with plasterboard/Gyprock and basic carpentry work.
• Measuring, cutting and preparing materials.
• Using hand and power tools.
• Loading, unloading and moving materials.
• Setting up and packing down work areas.
• Keeping sites clean, organised and safe.
• Following instructions, drawings and installation procedures.
• Working at different project locations throughout Sydney.
