Job summary

Belgravia Leisure's Gympie Aquatic Recreation Centre is seeking an enthusiastic Exercise Physiologist to join our part-time/casual Allied Health team. You will deliver evidence-based services to support chronic disease management, injury rehabilitation and wellbeing for the local community.

Work with a multidisciplinary team using our gym and hydrotherapy facilities, with flexible arrangements to support work‑life balance.

Qualifications

• Accredited Exercise Physiologist status with ESSA.
• Strong clinical reasoning and a passion for person-centred care.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A proactive, flexible and empowering approach.
• A genuine desire to help people live healthier, more active lives.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based exercise physiology services to support chronic disease management, injury rehabilitation and overall wellbeing.
• Design and implement tailored exercise programs for clients with cardiovascular, metabolic and musculoskeletal conditions.
• Utilise gym and hydrotherapy pool facilities to optimise client outcomes through land-based and aquatic therapy.
• Collaborate with Physiotherapists, Dietitians and OTs as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Contribute to health promotion initiatives and community engagement.
• Provide education and empower clients to take charge of their health.
