Job summary

Detector Inspector Pty Ltd in Melbourne is seeking an Accounts Receivable Officer to own a customer portfolio from day one, focusing on timely collections and accurate reconciliations. You will work with real estate agency clients and internal Account Managers, leveraging data from multiple sources to resolve issues and improve processes.

You will contribute to regular ageing reports and portfolio updates, maintain master data, and ensure confidentiality with a professional approach in a hybrid

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business fields preferred but not essential.
• 2–5 years’ experience in Accounts Receivable or Collections or similar in Account Management.
• Proven experience with multiple systems and debt management software is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Managing an assigned portfolio of customer accounts and collecting due and outstanding debts.
• Building rapport with real estate agency clients and partnering with Account Managers.
• Proactively resolving issues and ensuring timely collection activity.
• Preparing ageing reports and portfolio updates for management.
• Investigating invoice discrepancies and maintaining customer master data.
