Job summary

APM Group in Perth is seeking a dedicated Accounts Receivable Officer to join our finance team. This full-time role handles high-volume invoicing, payments and reconciliations across a large customer base, delivering accurate, timely records and responsive service.

You will work with SAP and multiple finance systems, support debt collection, and help improve processes while maintaining strong relationships with internal teams and customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in an Accounts Receivable role.
• Proven experience in high-volume transactional processing.
• Experience with collections and debtor management.
• Ability to reconcile customer accounts and investigate discrepancies.
• High data entry accuracy.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Intermediate Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables.
• Strong systems capability across multiple software platforms.
• Process-driven with strong attention to detail.
• Adaptable and able to thrive in a changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Receipting payments and allocating a high volume of transactions.
• Managing a large customer ledger and maintaining accurate customer account records.
• Overseeing debtor management and liaising with internal departments to support debt collection activities.
• Reconciling customer accounts and resolving discrepancies.
• Database and document management.
• Assisting with mid-month and end-of-month reporting.
• Processing and data entry of financial information.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders and customers.
• Supporting continuous process improvement initiatives.
• Ad hoc administration tasks as required.
