Job summary

Bluefin Resources Pty is seeking an Accounts Receivable Officer to join its Shared Services team in Sydney. The role focuses on accurate cash allocations, bank journals, and reconciliations across multiple bank accounts while supporting process improvements and team efficiency.

Ideal candidates will have 2+ years of end-to-end Accounts Receivable experience, SAP ERP familiarity, and strong customer service skills to manage inquiries and update records within a collaborative finance environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' end-to-end Accounts Receivable experience, including cash application and bank reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Allocate customer receipts accurately and on time, ensuring accounts are up to date.
• Prepare bank journals and complete bank reconciliations across multiple bank accounts.
• Investigate and resolve unallocated cash and reconciling items.
• Resolve first-contact customer enquiries efficiently and professionally.
• Maintain Vendor Master Data and use systems and technology to manage work tasks and update records.
• Escalate work tasks as appropriate to ensure timely resolution.
• Support process improvement initiatives within the Shared Service.
• Manage the Accounts Receivable inbox, delegating requests appropriately.
