Job summary

Carrington Centennial Care is seeking an Accounts Receivable Officer to join our not-for-profit organisation, delivering timely invoicing and accurate processing of receivables across service streams. This on-site role emphasizes strong stakeholder relationships with consumers and families within a supportive Finance Team.

You will manage high-volume AR transactions, ensure adherence to Aged Care standards, and collaborate with internal teams to resolve payment issues.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years’ experience in a high-volume transaction Accounts receivable role.
• Proven customer service skills and effective stakeholder management with a diverse customer base.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of finance systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines with a high level of accuracy.
• Willingness to obtain NDIS Worker Check.
• Experience in the Aged Care/Not for Profit industry.
• Experience with the Epicor system.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and coordinate the accounts receivable portfolio, ensuring timely invoicing, collection and accurate processing of outstanding accounts.
• Provide timely, efficient and satisfactory customer services for all accounts receivable enquiries, resolving discrepancies and building positive stakeholder relationships.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve outstanding payment issues.
• Maintain accounts receivable within trading terms, follow-up overdue accounts and escalate as appropriate.
• Support the end of month process, record keeping and preparation for audits.
• Ensure adherence to Accounting standards and policies.

The Opportunity

As the Accounts Receivable Officer you will be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of all financial transactions for receivable accounts across Carrington's various service streams. As part of our collaborative Finance Team, this full-time onsite role is an excellent opportunity to ensure Carrington's consumers are invoiced in compliance with Aged Care standards and key stakeholder relationships are maintained with consumers and their families.
