Job summary

Uniting AgeWell in Melbourne is seeking an Accounts Payable Officer to deliver a timely, accurate AP service and excellent stakeholder support.

You will process supplier invoices, employee expense claims and third‑party payments, manage petty cash, respond to queries, prepare EFTs, maintain supplier records and liaise across teams.

About the role:

The Accounts Payable Officer is responsible for providing a timely and accurate accounts payable service and excellent customer service to all levels of users.

In this role, you will:

• Perform AP related duties in accordance with the cyclical calendar for processing supplier invoices, employee related expense claims and third-party payments
• Process petty cash, debit cards and adhoc payments in accordance with company policy
• Respond to supplier account queries and resolve any invoice discrepancies
• Prepare electronic funds transfers
• Ensure the completeness and accuracy of supplier records and master files
• Liaise with external and internal stakeholders
• Processing and payments of supplier, client and staff expenses within payment terms
