Job summary

ALDI Australia is seeking a Specialist within our Accounts Payable (AP) Finance team, based in Minchinbury. This permanent full-time role connects internal partners with offshore AP teams to drive efficiency and service delivery.

You will lead process improvements, develop dashboards, and handle high-volume invoice processing using SAP Ariba and SAP S4 Hana. Strong Excel and stakeholder communication are essential, with a focus on continuous improvement.

Our Accounts Payable team plays a pivotal role in connecting business partners, onshore and offshore AP teams to drive operational excellence. Through collaboration, process improvement and effective stakeholder engagement, the team ensures efficient service delivery and supports strong business outcomes.

What does the role look like?

• Act as the key link between internal stakeholders and the offshore Accounts Payable partner, ensuring clear communication, priority alignment, and service delivery outcomes.
• Lead process improvement initiatives across the Accounts Payable function, partnering with stakeholders to streamline workflows, enhance controls, eliminate inefficiencies, and improve the overall user and supplier experience.
• Develop and maintain reporting dashboards and KPIs, delivering accurate and timely insights to support business decisions.
• Analyse operational performance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Partner with internal and offshore teams to standardise processes, promote best practices, and support change initiatives.

• Demonstrated experience in Accounts Payable, with a strong understanding of invoice processing, payment cycles, reconciliations, month-end activities and supplier management within a high-volume environment.
• Proven proficiency with SAP Ariba and SAP S4 Hana is essential.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, lookups, data validation, and reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet competing deadlines, and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the initiative to identify issues, implement solutions, and take ownership of outcomes.
• Proven ability to adapt to new technologies and systems, with a curious mindset and commitment to continuous learning and improvement.

Remuneration

• Transparent tiered salary range of$118,200 - $140,900including Superannuation.
