Job summary

ALDI Stores Australia is hiring an Assistant Store Manager in Melbourne to drive daily operations, lead a team, and deliver sales growth while upholding ALDI's high standards of service and store presentation.

You’ll train and develop colleagues, manage stock and safety, and step in for the Store Manager during leave. This role offers strong leadership development and a clear path for career progression within a values-driven retailer.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in a customer-focused retail environment.
• Strong communication and motivational skills to coach store staff.
• Ability to support the Store Manager and implement ALDI policies.

As an Assistant Store Manager you’ll:

• Experience leading teams, preferably in a customer-facing environment.
• Top-notch communication skills to inspire teammates and delight customers.
• Passion and skills for motivating, training, and encouraging your team to perform their best.
• Ability to support your Store Manager to achieve store results.
• A professional and responsible approach to every situation.
• An ability to work independently and oversee the execution of ALDI policies and procedures.
