Job summary

AirTrunk is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to manage end-to-end AP for its Australian operations. You will process invoices, handle payments, and support month-end activities within a dynamic, rapidly growing data centre environment.

You will collaborate with the AP & Finance team, ensure accurate accounting, and contribute to process improvements in a fast-paced setting. Experience with NetSuite and Excel is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' relevant experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with NetSuite is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Clear communication skills, both written and verbal.

Your Impact

As the Accounts Payable Specialist, you will report to the Accounts Payable Team Lead (who is based in our HQ in Australia) and work closely with the rest of the AP & Finance team, making your mark in a number of ways:

• Be accountable for end-to-end AP functions for our Australian businesses.
• Ensuring the accounts payable function runs efficiently by providing first line support to internal and external stakeholders.
• Supporting the Australian AP & Finance team including month-end/year-end closing and other ad-hoc assignments as required.
• As a growth position within a dynamic and entrepreneurial business, the general nature and level of work within this role is designed to progress as opportunities arise.

What You'll Do

• End-to-end Accounts Payable functions for our Australian businesses.
• Working alongside other Accounts Payable team members to process the group's invoices.
• Supporting the company CAPEX processes.
• Managing the weekly payment run processes for accounts payable and employee expenses, ensuring payments are cleared promptly.
• Responsible for handling vendor maintenance and payment enquiries.
• Assist in compliance with all indirect tax obligations (GST, FBT, Payroll Tax).
• Assist in the improvement of finance processes and controls, including the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
• Other ad hoc projects and duties as required.

What You'll Bring

• A minimum of 5 years' relevant experience.
• Ability to problem solve and multi-task.
• Strong attention to detail, highly organised, exceptional attitude .
• Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced AP role within a dynamic environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal and strong attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with NetSuite is a plus.
