Honey Birdette is seeking an Accounts Payable Officer to join the Finance team. If you are organised, detail-focused and comfortable with Excel and financial systems, we’d love to hear from you. Hybrid work in Sydney is available.

You will process invoices, reconcile supplier accounts, manage payments, and support daily finance operations while contributing to process improvements in a fast-growing luxury retailer.

Formación

• Experience in accounts payable, office management or administration.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to balance numbers.

• Confident communicator across suppliers and internal teams.
• Hybrid working in Sydney preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Processing a medium to high volume of invoices, purchase orders and expense claims accurately and efficiently
• Preparing and reconciling supplier accounts and bank transactions
• Ensuring costs are allocated across general ledger accounts and cost centres
• Coordinating weekly and ad hoc payment runs, including uploading payments
• Maintaining records and GST/VAT classifications
• Responding to finance-related queries and building relationships with suppliers and internal teams
• Supporting the Finance team with administration and keeping processes organised
• Looking for opportunities to improve processes and efficiency

The Role

Honey Birdette is looking for an organised and detail-loving Accounts Payable Officer to join our Finance team. Whether your background is in accounts payable, office management or administration, if you are switched on, have exceptional attention to detail and know your way around an Excel spreadsheet, we would love to hear from you. You will play an important role in keeping our day-to-day finance operations running smoothly. This is an exciting opportunity to build your finance experience while working behind the scenes of a bold, fun and fast-growing luxury retail lingerie brand.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Processing a medium to high volume of invoices, purchase orders and expense claims accurately and efficiently
• Preparing and reconciling supplier accounts, corporate credit cards and bank transactions
• Ensuring costs are accurately allocated across general ledger accounts and cost centres
• Coordinating weekly and ad hoc payment runs, including uploading payments to banking platforms
• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with financial policies, procedures and GST/VAT classifications
• Responding to finance-related queries and building positive relationships with suppliers and internal teams
• Supporting the Finance team with administration and helping to keep processes organised and on track
• Looking for opportunities to improve processes and make the way we work even more efficient

• You are based in Sydney and enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid working environment
