Job summary

Miele Australia Pty is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to support supplier payments, maintain accurate records and liaise with internal stakeholders within a collaborative Finance team.

This hybrid role offers two work-from-home days, two flexible office days plus a midweek team connection day, with opportunities for personal development and career progression at a globally trusted premium brand.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in Accounts Payable or Finance Administration.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
• Good reconciliation and analytical problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills to build relationships across the business.
• Intermediate Excel and Word skills.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP Concur, SAP or AS400 is advantageous.
• Experience in a medium to large corporate environment.
• Understanding GST compliance and financial controls.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices, employee reimbursements and payments accurately and in line with policies.
• Prepare payment runs and ensure creditors are paid on time.
• Reconcile supplier statements and key accounts to maintain accurate records.
• Respond to supplier and internal enquiries with timely, professional service.
• Assist with month-end activities, reporting and reconciliations.
• Contribute to process improvements and AP procedures.
• Support the wider Finance team with admin and operational tasks.

About Your Workplace

Join Miele's Finance team and play an important role in supporting the financial operations of one of the world's leading premium appliance brands. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you'll ensure supplier payments are processed accurately and on time while building strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Working within a collaborative and high-performing Finance team, you'll help maintain the integrity of our financial processes, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support the delivery of exceptional service across the business.

Your Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices, employee reimbursements and payments accurately and in accordance with company policies
• Prepare payment runs and ensure creditors are paid within agreed terms
• Reconcile supplier statements and key accounts to maintain accurate financial records
• Respond to supplier and internal stakeholder enquiries, delivering timely and professional customer service
• Assist with month-end activities, reporting and reconciliation processes to support the Finance team
• Contribute to process improvements, documentation and the ongoing enhancement of Accounts Payable procedures
• Support the wider Finance team with administrative and operational tasks as required

What We Are Looking For

• Must-have Previous experience in an Accounts Payable or Finance Administration role
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational and time management skills
• Good reconciliation and analytical problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships across the business
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Word
• Nice-to-have Experience using ERP systems such as SAP Concur, SAP, AS400 or similar
• Experience working in a medium to large corporate environment
• Understanding of GST compliance and financial controls
• Experience contributing to process improvement initiatives
