Job summary

Harmony is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable professional for our Brisbane area finance team. You will manage end-to-end AP processes, enter invoices, process payments, and perform supplier reconciliations in AUD and foreign currencies.

The role offers a 5-on/2-off roster at Milton, with up to two days per week work-from-home flexibility, and bonus scheme eligibility. prior mining sector experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification or at least three years accounts payable experience.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with computerised accounting systems; Pronto and Redmap desirable.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience handling foreign currencies.
• Experience in large organisations is advantageous.

Job description

Reporting to the Assistant Accountant, you will deliver accurate and timely end-to-end accounts payable services while supporting internal stakeholders across the business. This role suits a highly organised professional with strong attention to detail who can work efficiently and collaboratively in a close-knit team.

Roster:

• Full-time roster of 5 days on / 2 days off (Monday to Friday) based at our Milton office
• Flexible working arrangements, including up to 2 days per week working from home

Responsibilities

• Data Entry of Invoices in AUD & Foreign Currencies.
• Processing/uploading of payments to the bank.
• Preparation of Payments & Remittances.
• Documenting all Invoices & Payments.
• Monthly Reporting & Supplier Reconciliations.

Qualifications

You are a self-motivated and collaborative accounts payable professional who brings:

• A relevant tertiary qualification or at least three years’ accounts payable experience.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience using computerised accounting systems; Pronto and Redmap experience is desirable but not essential.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
• Experience processing foreign-currency transactions.
• Experience working in a large organisation will be highly regarded.
