Job summary

Next Gen Health & Lifestyle Clubs currently seeks an Accounts Payable Officer to support day‑to‑day financial operations from Adelaide. The role reports to the Head of Finance and focuses on accurate AP processing and supplier relationships.

You will manage invoices, coding, payments, and reconciliations while ensuring GST compliance and strong internal controls. A Certificate IV+ in accounting and 2–5 years AP experience are preferred, with opportunities for career growth across Australia and

• Previous experience in Accounts Payable or Finance Administration.
• Knowledge of accounts payable processes and accounting principles.
• Understanding of Goods & Services Tax (GST) requirements.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Experience using accounting software or ERP systems.
• Able to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Display a positive attitude and strong team‑oriented approach.
• Be adaptable, dependable and willing to take a hands‑on approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and operational support to the Finance Team as required.
• Assist with continuous improvement initiatives within the AP function.

Next Gen’s Finance Team is centrally located in Adelaide and we are currently seeking an Accounts Payable Officer to join the team. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will play an important role in supporting the day-to‑day financial operations of the business and ensuring the smooth running of the Accounts Payable function.

About the Role

This hands‑on role is responsible for delivering accurate and timely accounts payable support across the business while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
