Job summary

Liebherr-Australia Pty Ltd is seeking an Accounts Payable Officer to manage end-to-end AP activities across Australia. You will process supplier invoices, ensure accurate coding and timely payments, and support month-end processes. Qualifications

  • Certificate III in Business Administration or Finance, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in Accounts Payable with invoice processing, PO matching, supplier management.
  • Experience handling high volumes with attention to data integrity and month-end support.

Responsibilities

  • Process supplier invoices with accurate coding and PO matching.
  • Manage end-to-end AP processes and timely payments.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly payment runs and maintain creditor records.
  • Assist month-end reconciliations and close activities.
  • Identify process improvements to enhance AP performance.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to resolve queries.

As an Accounts Payable Officer, you'll take ownership of end-to-end accounts payable activities, working with suppliers and internal stakeholders across Australia to ensure accurate invoice processing, timely payments, and exceptional service. Responsibilities
  • Process and manage supplier invoices, ensuring accurate coding, purchase order matching, and timely entry into the finance system.
  • Deliver efficient end-to-end accounts payable services, supporting the accurate and on-time payment of suppliers across the business.
  • Prepare and coordinate weekly and monthly payment runs while maintaining accurate creditor records and account information.
  • Assist with month-end activities, including account reconciliations and ensuring financial records are complete and accurate.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to streamline processes and enhance Accounts Payable performance.
  • Provide high-quality administrative support and collaborate with internal stakeholders, branch teams, and suppliers to resolve queries and maintain strong working relationships.
Skills & Experience
  • Certificate III in Business Administration or Finance, or equivalent experience in a similar role.
  • Demonstrated experience in an Accounts Payable position, with strong knowledge of invoice processing, purchase order matching, and supplier account management.
  • Proven ability to accurately process high volumes of transactions while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and data integrity.Experience preparing payment runs, reconciling accounts and supporting month-end financial processes in a busy environment.
  • Strong computer literacy, with confidence using ERP or accounting systems and intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
  • Well-developed analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate discrepancies and resolve issues efficiently.
