Iconic Luxury Brand in Sydney's CBD is seeking an Accounts Payable Assistant to own the end-to-end AP process within a fast-paced finance team. This permanent, full-time role offers a $87,500 package and the prestige of working for a globally recognised luxury brand.

You will manage invoice processing, coding, approvals, payments, vendor data, and expense claims, with SAP and advanced Excel skills highly valued.

Formación

• Tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience in an AP or finance role.
• Advanced Excel skills; SAP experience desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Process weekly vendor payments and prepare remittances
• Maintain and update vendor database and resolve supplier inquiries
• Process employee expense claims
• Prepare and analyse aged payables reports for management
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes

The Role
A rare opportunity to join one of the world's most recognisable luxury brands in a key finance role. As Accounts Payable Assistant, you will take ownership of the end-to-end AP function, working closely with the Financial Accountant and broader Finance team in a fast-paced, high-standard environment.
This is a permanent, full-time position offering a $87,500 package and the prestige of working for a globally recognised luxury brand.
What You'll Be Doing

• Managing the full accounts payable function including invoice processing, coding, and approvals
• Processing weekly vendor payments and preparing remittances
• Maintaining and updating the vendor database and resolving supplier inquiries
• Processing employee expense claims
• Preparing and analysing aged payables reports for management
• Supporting month-end and year-end closing processes on an ad-hoc basis
• Providing invoice approval system support to internal users

The Ideal Candidate

• Tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance
• Experience in a similar AP or finance role
• Experience with SAP highly desirable
• Advanced Excel skills
• High attention to detail with strong organisational and time management skills
• Confident communicator with internal and external stakeholders
• Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and meet tight deadlines
