Job summary

ABC Refinery, Sydney, NSW, is seeking an Accounts Officer to support accounts payable, reconciliations and reporting under the Senior Accountant. You will work with stakeholders across the business to ensure accurate records, timely payments and continuous process improvements.

The role requires a degree in accounting/commerce/economics or related field, 2+ years in a similar role, and strong Excel/ERP skills. GST knowledge and effective communication are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Commerce, Economics or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar Finance, Accounts Payable or Accounts Officer role.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience using ERP systems.
• Knowledge of GST requirements will be highly regarded.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Maintain supplier accounts and records.
• Reconcile supplier statements and accounts.
• Prepare aged payables reports and other finance reports.
• Assist with daily bank reconciliations.
