Qualifications

• A qualification in accounting, bookkeeping or a related field, or relevant experience in an accounting environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook.
• Strong numeracy skills and the ability to work with financial data accurately.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all financial matters.

Responsibilities

• Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with accuracy and attention to detail
• Data entry of financial information into accounting software and systems
• Reconciling accounts and identifying discrepancies or variances
• Assisting with invoice preparation, processing and filing
• Responding to account enquiries from clients and internal stakeholders
• Maintaining organised financial records and documentation
• Assisting with bank reconciliations and payment processing
• Performing general administrative duties as required by the finance department
