Webuild in Australia is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead the Finance Team in Perth, overseeing financial accounting and reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements.

You will drive month-end and year-end close, consolidate local and group reporting, and work with audit processes while developing a high-performing accounting team.

Qualifications

• Must have previous experience in an Accounting Manager role within a large corporation.
• Proven ability to manage, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals.
• Excellent verbal and written skills, with a track record of translating complex financial information for non-financial stakeholders.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict monthly, quarterly, and year-end deadlines.
• Strong leadership, clear communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Tertiary qualifications.
• CPA/CA certification.

Responsibilities

• Ensure financial statements and records are complete, accurate, and maintained per policies and standards.
• Coordinate, review, and prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing and Group reporting.
• Maintain general ledger integrity and implement stronger controls.
• Support Finance Office staff and assist with supervision and training.
• Coordinate and manage Internal and External Audit activities.
