Job summary

YO AI Labs seeks a Finance Systems & Accounting Expert for a remote, worldwide project. You will assess AI-generated accounting results, review month-end close, and provide clear corrections to ensure accuracy across multiple ERP platforms.

Ideal candidates have hands-on accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with AI training/data evaluation in financial contexts. Flexible scheduling is offered for a contractor engagement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in financial accounting and reporting.
• Experience reviewing journal entries, reconciliations and financial statements.
• Proficiency with multiple financial systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Xero, Dynamics 365, Workday).
• Strong Excel skills and ability to manipulate large datasets.
• Experience in AI training, data annotation, or rubric-based evaluation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated accounting outputs for accuracy and journal treatment.
• Review and annotate financial statements, reconciliations and month-end workpapers.
• Identify errors and provide corrections with clear rationale.
• Assess financial workflows across NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Xero and Dynamics 365.
• Apply rubrics to evaluate, rank, and grade AI responses.
• Create realistic accounting scenarios and reference answers for AI training.
• Provide actionable feedback to improve model performance and accounting accuracy.
• Support transaction recording through month-end close and financial reporting.

Role Overview

micro1 is engaging Financial Systems & Accounting Experts to support a customer project focused on accounting operations, financial reporting, and ERP systems. You'll apply your accounting judgment and financial systems expertise to evaluate and improve AI-generated outputs and training data.

Prior experience in AI training or human-data work is required. Simply using AI features within accounting software does not qualify.

Scope of Work

• Evaluate AI-generated accounting outputs for accuracy, calculations, journal entries, and accounting treatments.
• Review and annotate financial statements, reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close workpapers.
• Identify accounting errors, misstatements, and inconsistencies and provide appropriate corrections with clear rationale.
• Assess accounting workflows and financial systems logic across platforms such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Xero, and Dynamics 365.
• Apply written rubrics to evaluate, rank, and grade AI-generated responses.
• Create realistic accounting scenarios, examples, and reference answers for AI training.
• Provide clear, actionable feedback to improve model performance and accounting accuracy.
• Support financial processes from transaction recording through month-end close and financial reporting.

AI Training / Human Data Evaluation

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands‑on experience in financial accounting, corporate accounting, audit, bookkeeping, financial reporting, management accounting, cost accounting, or FP&A with substantial accounting responsibilities.
• Proven experience preparing or reviewing journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.
• Hands‑on experience with NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Xero, Sage Intacct, Dynamics 365, Workday, or comparable financial systems.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with tools such as BlackLine, Bill.com, Ramp, Brex, Stripe, Avalara, Anaplan, Tableau, or Power BI is a plus.
• Prior paid experience in AI training, data annotation, labeling, RLHF, AI response evaluation, model evaluation, or rubric-based grading is required.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills (B2 level or above).
• Ability to work independently and meet project quality standards and deadlines.
