Job summary

SW Accountants & Advisors is seeking a capable Business Services professional to join our Melbourne-based team. You will manage a portfolio of private clients, prepare tax returns for individuals, trusts, companies and partnerships, and support financial reporting and advisory work.

You will work with APS, Xero, MYOB and QuickBooks, collaborate with junior staff, and ensure timely delivery of client work while upholding our service standards and budgets.

Qualifications

• 18 months to 3 years of Business Services experience in a Chartered/CPA practice.
• Degree qualified and have commenced CA/CPA studies.
• Technically proficient and keep updated with taxation and accounting developments.
• Ability to support and mentor junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Prepare individual, company, trust and partnership tax returns.
• Prepare BAS/IAS and tax variations for clients.
• Prepare Fringe Benefits tax returns.
• Prepare complete financial accounts for entities.
• Analyse management reports (cash flow, budgets).
• Provide guidance and support to junior team members.
• Prepare budgets and bills for services; manage client deadlines.
• Handle accounting for investment portfolios and other duties as required.
