Job summary

Service Stream is seeking an experienced Accountant to join the finance team supporting a major Gas contract in Victoria. Based in Clayton with a hybrid work model, the role covers month-end accounting, reporting, reconciliations and stakeholder engagement.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will contribute to process improvements, balance sheet reviews and audit support, with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home. This maternity leave position runs to February 2028.

Qualifications

• Must have solid accounting experience in a medium to large organisation.
• Experience with month-end close, reporting and reconciliations.
• SAP experience is mandatory in finance environment.

Responsibilities

• Month-End Accounting & Financial Control: process transactions, journals, reconciliations, reporting.
• Reporting & Analysis: produce packs, support audits, forecast and cash flow modelling.
• Stakeholder Management: partner with operational and project teams to provide insights.
