Job summary

RSM Australia is seeking an accounting professional to analyse financial data, prepare high‑quality reports, and support clients in understanding their financial position. You will manage records across assets, liabilities, profit and loss, and tax obligations to ensure accuracy and transparency.

You will work closely with a diverse client portfolio, build advisory foundations, and advance your career within a supportive, collaborative environment where learning is valued.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years’ experience in a similar accounting role
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Commenced (or intention to commence) CA or equivalent qualification

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of financial statements in line with accounting standards
• Review financial statements and management accounts, ensuring accuracy and consistency
• Apply basic tax compliance procedures
• Assist with tax planning activities for clients
• Prepare income tax returns for individuals, companies and trusts
• Complete required regulatory forms accurately and on time
• Meet lodgment deadlines in line with lodgment program requirements
