Job summary

Charterhouse in Wangaratta is seeking an Accountant to grow their career in a well-established public practice in regional Victoria. You will work with a diverse client base across SMEs and individuals, developing technical skills while collaborating with experienced Accountants, Managers and Directors.

This role offers mentoring and clear progression to senior levels. You will manage financial statements and tax returns for Companies, Trusts, Partnerships and Individuals with exposure to

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience within Australian Public Practice.
• Relevant accounting qualification, with CA or CPA studies underway or a willingness to commence.
• Experience preparing financial statements and income tax returns for Companies, Trusts, Partnerships and Individuals.
• Good understanding of Australian accounting principles and taxation legislation.

We're working with a respected accounting and advisory practice in Wangaratta that provides a broad range of accounting, taxation and business advisory services to local businesses, SMEs, family groups and individuals. With continued growth across the practice, they're looking to bring an Accountant into their team.

This is a great opportunity for an Accountant who wants exposure to a varied client base, enjoys building relationships and is keen to continue developing their technical skills. You'll work alongside experienced Accountants, Managers and Directors while taking increasing ownership of your own portfolio.
About You

• 2+ years' experience within Australian Public Practice.
