Skilled Jobs Australia in Macquarie Park, NSW, is seeking a full-time Accountant to oversee financial analysis, accounting systems, regulatory reporting, and audits. You will perform month-end close, cashflow forecasting, and produce monthly reports tracking performance against budget while analysing variances.

The successful candidate will ensure internal controls, prepare taxation returns, and collaborate across departments.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance, Commerce or similar.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
• Experience in financial analysis, accounting systems and processes, regulatory and compliance reporting, auditing, solvency and record-keeping.

Mansioni

• Month end accounting including balance sheet reconciliations and journals.
• Preparation of daily cashflow forecasts.
• Preparation and finalisation of monthly financial reports tracking performance vs budget and analysing variances.
• Preparation of reports for management and statutory reporting.

Our client is looking for a full-time Accountant to undertake and advise on aspects of financial analysis, accounting systems and processes, regulatory and compliance based financial reporting, auditing, solvency, and record-keeping accounting systems and their requirements.

Other tasks include and are not limited to the following:

• Month end accounting including balance sheet reconciliations and journals
• Preparation of daily cashflow forecasts
• Preparation and finalisation of monthly financial reports tracking financial performance against budget and analysing variances
• Preparation of reports for management and statutory reporting
• Providing commentary on management reports and identifying areas for improvement
• Undertake audits investigating and resolving financial discrepancies with thorough research, financial acumen, and critical thinking
• Maintenance of internal controls
• Preparation of taxation returns for organisations within the group
• Coordinate and communicate accounting matters with other departments and off-site locations within the group.
• Assist management with the preparation of annual reports
• Analysing trends and financial performance across business units
• Taking part in systems and process improvement initiatives

Remuneration

This is subject to your skills, qualifications and experience with a salary package of $80,000-$100,000 per annum + superannuation based on a full-time position.
