Job summary

Camp Australia is seeking an Accountant to strengthen our first-class finance team. You’ll ensure accurate financial reporting, manage month-end processes and provide insights to support strategic decisions across the business.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in a similar finance or accounting role.
• Strong general ledger knowledge and experience with end-of-month processes.
• High attention to detail with solid data analysis and Excel skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
• A recognised degree in Accounting or Finance.
• A commercial mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Completing accurate and timely balance sheet reconciliations across all group entities
• Assisting with the Monthly Board Report, including insightful variance analysis and commentary
• Managing Business Activity Statements (BAS), FBT returns and statutory reporting obligations
• Maintaining the Fixed Asset Register
• Assisting in year-end external audit processes
• Business partnering with department leaders to deliver insights and support strategic decisions
• Collaborating with FP&A on OPEX projections and cash flow forecasting

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be supporting the financial health of our organisation by:
