99 Bikes is hiring an Entry-Level Accountant to join our Finance team in Brisbane. Reporting to the Finance Leader, you will focus on high-volume transactional tasks and support month-end processes.

You will handle reconciliations across bank accounts, credit cards, gift cards, customer deposits, trade debtors and inter-company loans, and assist with balance sheet reconciliations and month-end close. Strong communication with store teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business or Commerce with Accounting major.
• CA or CPA studies started or in progress.
• Hands-on accounting experience via internship/part-time/graduate role.

Responsabilités

About the Role

We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Accountant to join our Finance team.

Reporting to the Finance Leader, this role focuses on high-volume transactional tasks and supporting month-end processes.

You’ll handle day-to-day reconciliations across bank accounts, credit cards, gift cards, customer deposits, trade debtors and inter-company loans.

You’ll also support balance sheet reconciliations and help with the month-end close.

Strong communication skills are essential, as you’ll regularly interact with our store teams via email and phone to follow up on queries and resolve issues.

• You are someone who's able to proactively identify problems, analyse root causes, and develop effective solutions to improve processes and outcomes

• You’ve recently completed a degree in Business or Commerce, majoring in Accounting, and have already started (or are about to start) your CA or CPA studies.
• You’ve had some hands-on experience in an accounting role - whether through an internship, part-time job, graduate role, or early career role in public practice or industry. If you’re a first‑time mover from public practice, we’d love to hear from you!
• You have exceptional organisation and time management skills and proven ability to prioritise your work to meet deadlines
• You’re technically savvy: High proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and exposure to AI systems.
