Programmed in Brisbane is seeking an experienced Accountant to oversee the full accounting cycle and support the business with financial and commercial insights. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will supervise a small finance team and handle AR, AP, GL, payroll, and compliance across BAS, GST, FBT and PAYG.

The role requires at least 4 years as a qualified Accountant, bilingual in Mandarin or Cantonese, and a background in FMCG or related sectors.

Qualificações

• Must possess minimum 4 years' experience as a qualified Accountant
• Must be bi-lingual in Mandarin or Cantonese due to clientele
• Previous experience in FMCG, hospitality, or food manufacturing, or distribution industry highly desirable
• Proven experience supervising or mentoring staff members
• Strong Excel skills
• Commercially minded with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Responsabilidades

• Oversee AR, AP, GL and credit management
• Manage month-end and year-end close, reconciliations, journals and provisions
• Prepare management reports, budgets, variance analysis and cash-flow forecasts
• Manage BAS, GST, FBT, PAYG and payroll tax requirements
• Oversee payroll processes and staff onboarding/terminations
• Monitor intercompany transactions and landed costs
• Coordinate audit, insurance, workers compensation and asset management requirements
• Identify and implement process and system improvements
• Provide financial analysis and insights to assist the Director with key business decisions
• Lead and support a small transactional finance team

Your new role

Key Responsibilities
