Job summary

Dashing seeks an Account Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of retail campaigns, activations and installations across a diverse client portfolio. You’ll coordinate clients, internal teams, suppliers and budgets to ensure projects are delivered smoothly and to a high standard.

Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years of hands-on experience managing physical retail campaigns or installations.
  • Experience managing projects from brief to production and onsite delivery.
  • Practical understanding of fabrication processes, materials, substrates and finishes.
  • Experience preparing and managing project schedules, budgets, costings and documentation.
  • Confidence managing suppliers, contractors and cross-functional project teams.

Job description

As an Account Project Manager at Dashing, you’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment delivering retail campaigns, brand activations and installations across a diverse client portfolio.

You’ll manage projects from initial brief through to production and installation, coordinating clients, internal teams, suppliers, budgets and timelines to ensure every project is delivered smoothly and to an exceptional standard.

This role suits an experienced project manager who understands how creative concepts translate into physical retail environments. You’ll be highly organised, commercially aware and confident managing multiple projects, competing priorities and client expectations.

Key responsibilities
Project delivery and execution
  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of retail campaigns, brand activations, visual merchandising projects and installations
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, costings and tracking documents
  • Manage multiple projects of varying scale and complexity at the same time
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including Creative, Production, suppliers, subcontractors and installation partners
  • Review specifications, costings, materials and production requirements to confirm feasibility and alignment with the client brief
  • Attend and manage key onsite installations, including some work outside standard business hours
  • Identify project risks early and resolve production, delivery and installation challenges quickly
  • Deliver projects on time, within budget and to an exceptional standard while protecting project profitability
Client service and stakeholder management
  • Act as a key day-to-day contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle
  • Build trusted relationships with brand, marketing, retail and property stakeholders
  • Lead client WIP meetings and provide clear updates on project status, timelines, risks and solutions
  • Maintain accurate and current project information and tracking through Monday.com
  • Understand each campaign’s objectives, audience and intended retail outcome
  • Collaborate with account management, Creative, Production and Install teams to align scope, timing and deliverables
  • Liaise with external stakeholders including property groups, councils, structural engineers, suppliers and contractors where requiredEscalate risks, commercial concerns and opportunities to the Group Account Director
Strategic insight and continuous improvement
  • Contribute to project debriefs and capture practical learnings and improvement opportunities
  • Support the development of project management processes, tools and templates
  • Identify opportunities to streamline delivery, improve quality and strengthen commercial outcomes
  • Stay informed about retail trends, materials, production techniques and emerging activation opportunities
Collaboration and culture
  • Work closely with Creative, Production, Client Service, Procurement and Install teams

About you
Experience and expertise
  • 3-5+ years of hands-on experience managing physical retail campaigns, brand activations, visual merchandising projects, retail displays or installations
  • Demonstrated experience managing projects from brief through to production and onsite delivery
  • A practical understanding of fabrication processes, materials, substrates, finishes and production methods
  • Experience preparing and managing project schedules, budgets, costings and documentation
  • Confidence managing suppliers, contractors and cross-functional project teams
  • Experience coordinating site access, installation requirements, compliance documentation or council approvals is highly regarded
  • Experience working directly with clients and managing day-to-day stakeholder expectations

  • Commercially aware, with the ability to manage budgets and protect project profitability

  • Comfortable working autonomously and taking ownership of project outcomes
  • Proficient across Microsoft Office, Google Workspace and project management systems
  • Experience using Monday.com is advantageous
