Job summary

Visy is seeking a hands-on regional sales representative based in Queensland (Mareeba / Atherton Tablelands) to grow and service a portfolio of tropical produce customers. You will travel locally, build trusted relationships, and tailor sustainable packaging solutions.

Reporting to the Fibre Packaging Manager, you will coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth operations and help customers thrive in a circular economy.

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proactive and capable of working independently in regional areas.

Drive customer success in regional QLD by delivering innovative, sustainable packaging solutions for tropical produce.

This is a full-time, customer-facing role based in Mareeba / Atherton Tablelands, QLD, right in the heart of tropical produce country. You'll report directly to the Fibre Packaging Manager and play a key role in supporting regional growers with tailored packaging solutions.

As Visy's on-the-ground representative, you'll be the face of our fibre packaging business in the region-building relationships, solving problems, and helping our customers thrive. You'll work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth operations and deliver packaging solutions that are not only functional but also sustainable.

This role offers a unique opportunity to combine hands-on customer engagement with strategic growth initiatives, all while contributing to the circular economy in one of Australia's most vibrant agricultural regions.

What You'll Do:

• Manage and grow a portfolio of regional produce customers, including bananas, papaya, and other tropical crops.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships as Visy's trusted representative.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver seamless solutions and exceptional service.
• Identify opportunities for mutual growth and support operational activities as required.

What You'll Bring:

• Experience in sales, agriculture, or packaging (ideally a combination).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with customers.
• Proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work independently in a regional environment.
• Problem-solving ability and a passion for supporting local industry.
• Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel locally.
