Job summary

Meaningful Agency is seeking an SEO-savvy Account Manager to oversee a portfolio of clients on the Sunshine Coast. You will manage strategy, delivery, reporting and the client relationship end to end, driving results and growing accounts.

You will coordinate with content and development teams, lead monthly/quarterly reviews, and identify optimization opportunities to expand scope and value for clients.

Qualifications

• 2 years in SEO/Account Management; agency experience is a big plus, but in-house or freelance counts.
• You genuinely like being client facing and working with people; calls energise you.

Meaningful Agency is an independent, full-service growth marketing agency based on the Sunshine Coast.

We've worked with 100+ brands across 20+ markets and manage $50M+ in media. Our client list includes national names like LEAP Legal Software, Doshii, Southern Cross Travel Insurance and Matrix Education, through to local fast growing brands, meaning the work here spans household brands and scrappy challengers in the same week.

We're a performance agency with senior operators on every account. We look at a client's whole business, offer, marketing, website, lead management, sales; not just whether the ads are on or off, and we hold ourselves accountable to their results.

The role

You'll manage a portfolio of SEO clients end to end. Strategy, delivery, reporting and, most importantly, the relationship. You'll be the person clients call, the person who explains what's happening and why, and the person who sets the plan for what's next.

Day to day, that looks like:

• Running monthly and quarterly calls, presenting results, and setting the agenda for what we do next
• Building and executing SEO strategies: technical, content, local, and increasingly AI search
• Writing briefs and working with our content and dev resources to get work shipped
• Turning data into a story a client actually understands and acts on
• Spotting opportunities in client accounts before they ask, and pitching them
• Collaborating with the team, working on bigger picture thinking and having a helping hand in leading our SEO division.

Who we're looking for

We care more about how you handle a client than how many audits you've run.

• Around 2 years in SEO/ Account Management. Agency experience is a big plus, but in‑house or freelance counts
• You genuinely like being client facing and working with people. Calls energise you rather than drain you
• You can explain technical work to a non‑technical business owner without either dumbing it down or losing them
• You want to grow in your career, work to a high standard and are looking for a team pushing the standard of agency
• You're organised enough to run several accounts without things slipping
• You want to get deeper technically, not stay at surface level
