Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' insurance experience. Aviation experience is preferred, with at least 1 year desirable.
• Strong account management experience gained within corporate or commercial broking
• Tier 1 Insurance Broking qualification
• Pro‑active approach to all aspects of account management and service delivery
• Highly developed communication and negotiation skills
• Driven and professional disposition with a willingness to contribute to a team environment

How you'll make an impact

We have a rare opportunity for you to join our successful XXXX broking team as our new Assistant Account Executive. The role will see you providing support to our brokers and also managing a small portfolio of your own clients in XXXX. More specifically, you'll be responsible for:

• Providing administrative support on new and renewal policies including quoting, gathering client information and database updates
• Providing a high level of customer service with tight turnaround times to clients, brokers, underwriters and other key stakeholders
• Implementing renewal and broking strategies
• Making key relevant decisions required to fulfil clients' needs in-line with internal policies, standards and legislation
• Assisting in the overall account management and debtor management
• Keeping informed of industry trends by attending internal and external training sessions, industry seminars etc
• Applying best business practice in at activities ethically, professionally and with integrity

About you

Required: Bachelor's degree; no experience required.
