Job summary

Hushpak Engineering is seeking an experienced Fitter to join our team at our Boolaroo facility in NSW. This hands-on role involves fitting and installing Automatic Grease Systems and related accessories to vehicles with precision and care.

You will measure, cut, and adapt materials and use hand and power tools safely to complete installations. You will inspect work, prepare vehicles, maintain a clean workspace, and communicate progress with customers and team members while troubleshooting issues

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Accessory Fitter or similar fitting role within the trades industry.
• Experience installing Automatic Grease Systems on Trucks and Earthmoving Equipment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of automotive accessories, fitment techniques and industry best practices.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools and precision measuring equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and installation manuals.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
• Sound understanding of health and safety requirements in an automotive workshop environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Reliability, punctuality and a professional approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Fitting and installing Automatic Grease Systems and other accessories to vehicles and machines in accordance with manufacturer specifications and company standards.
• Measuring, cutting and adapting materials to ensure proper fitment of accessories.
• Using hand and power tools safely and correctly to complete installation tasks.
• Inspecting completed work to ensure quality standards are met and addressing any issues promptly.
• Preparing vehicles for accessory installation, including protective coverings where necessary.
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Communicating effectively with team members and customers regarding project progress and any complications.
• Troubleshooting fitting issues and providing practical solutions.
• Keeping accurate records of work completed and materials used.
