Job summary

DIXON APPOINTMENTS in City of Melbourne seeks an experienced Access & Disability professional to support a backlog of Individual Access Plans (IAPs). This role entails assessing student needs, reviewing medical documentation, and crafting reasonable adjustments for teaching staff.

The ideal candidate will hold a relevant degree and possess strong knowledge of disability legislation, along with excellent interpersonal skills. This position requires on-site work with no remote arrangements.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in disability support services.
• Familiarity with assistive technologies and external support services.
• Knowledge of State and Commonwealth disability legislation.

Responsibilities

• Review student documentation including medical evidence and intake forms.
• Conduct initial consultations with students to understand needs.
• Develop Individual Access Plans (IAPs) for teaching staff.
• Liaise with teaching staff regarding implementation of adjustments.

Skills
