Job summary

UNSW seeks an Academic Engagement Librarian to support education, research and engagement objectives by connecting academics, researchers and HDR candidates with Library services. The role involves delivering high-quality teaching, consultations and customised learning initiatives.

The position reports to the Team Leader, Academic Engagement, with no direct reports, and is based at Kensington NSW. A strong service orientation and collaboration culture are essential.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated service orientation and strong communication with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience delivering in-person, online and hybrid workshops in higher education or research.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and client liaison skills with ability to influence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver teaching, research support and outreach services to the UNSW community.
• Develop and deliver tailored workshops and curriculum-integrated learning initiatives.
• Collaborate with faculties, schools and researchers to enhance digital literacy.
