Job summary

Corrective Services NSW in Tabulam, NSW is seeking a Supervising role to provide daily centre leadership, case management support, and culturally informed service delivery. The position prioritises Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander engagement and safety, with strong collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.

You will lead staff, coordinate resident activities, and ensure program outcomes align with NSW justice policies.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated cultural capability and knowledge of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander issues.
• Preferred: Certificate IV in Community Services or equivalent experience in case management.
• Current NSW driver’s licence and LR licence or willingness to obtain LR within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise staff to deliver program activities and resident case management.
• Maintain a safe environment for staff, residents and visitors.
• Monitor staff performance and incident reporting with timely follow-up.
• Coordinate daily schedules and duties, communicating resident needs clearly.
• Manage portfolios supporting the Centre’s daily operations.
• Support program delivery by training, co-facilitating programs and supervising community access.
• Build relationships with government and non-government partners to meet requirements.
• Provide timely advice and reports to management for decision-making.
• Uphold cultural safety and engage respectfully with residents and communities.
