NACCHO Australia is offering a maximum term registrar position for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander doctors committed to public health. The role supports AFPHM training through Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and provides collaboration with experienced Public Health Physicians and Medical Advisors.

You will contribute to policy development, health promotion, disease prevention and evaluation across the Aboriginal Community-Controlled Health sector, with a 12-month term and a strong

Qualifikationen

• Must hold a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery or equivalent recognised by AMC.
• Current, unrestricted AHPRA registration.
• Medical indemnity insurance.
• MPH in progress as part of professional development.

Aufgaben

• Contribute to public and population health projects and initiatives.
• Develop policy advice and recommendations on priority public health issues.
• Support the design, implementation and evaluation of public health programs.
• Analyse public health issues and their impacts on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
• Collaborate with ACCHOs, NACCHO Affiliates and key stakeholders.
• Participate in AFPHM learning and development activities.
• Assist with public health research, surveillance and program evaluation.
