Qualifikationen

• Understanding of gambling and AOD issues and impacts on communities.
• Knowledge of AOD treatment pathways and gambling support services.
• Knowledge of harm minimisation, trauma-informed, recovery-oriented practice.
• Understanding of Aboriginal Social and Emotional Wellbeing principles and culturally safe practice.
• Ability to engage with Aboriginal individuals, families and communities.
• Willingness to facilitate and plan cultural/community programs.
• Strong communication, advocacy and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
• Ability to establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
• Experience with computer systems and confidential record-keeping.

• Provide culturally safe outreach and community engagement.
• Support early intervention and peer-led activities within the program.
• Coordinate referrals, education, advocacy and case coordination.
• Promote connection to culture, family and community.
• Work in collaboration with AOD and gambling prevention teams.
