Job summary
South Western Sydney Local Health District is seeking an Aboriginal Palliative Care and Cancer Services Workforce Educator to strengthen culturally safe care across cancer and palliative services in the district. You will coordinate and deliver cultural capability initiatives, provide guidance to staff, and work with partner organisations to improve Aboriginal health outcomes.

Qualifications
- Identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander and comfortable sharing cultural knowledge.
- Experience designing, delivering and evaluating education or workforce development initiatives.
- Ability to build and maintain partnerships with Aboriginal communities and stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with diverse audiences.
- Commitment to culturally safe, respectful care for Aboriginal patients and communities.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and deliver cultural capability initiatives to strengthen workforce capability.
- Provide cultural guidance to staff and promote culturally respectful communication.
- Support research and service improvement activities within Aboriginal health programs.
