- Location – Waterloo
- Permanent Full Time role – (part time 4 days may be considered)
- Pay rate –$39 per hour + superannuation
- 7 additional leave days per year

We have a great opportunity for anAboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Identified Aged Care Customer Service Officer to join our Aged Care Assessment Services (‘ACAS’) team in Sydney. Aged Care Assessment Services (ACAS) operate independently of Catholic Healthcare and play a pivotal role in ensuring that Older Australians are assessed for the care and services they truly need.
What will your role look like?
Our Customer Service Officer will provide strong and efficient administration support and customer service to our ACAS clients, particularly those who identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander.
Day to day this includes:
- Deliver exceptional customer service over the phone to clientsand representatives
- Conduct all client interactions in a professional, knowledgeable, and supportive manner
- Respond promptly to emails from all stakeholders
- Provide strong administrative support to ACAS staff to ensure operational effectiveness
- Assistclients with inquiries related to My Aged Care and assessment outcomes
- Mail My Aged Care support plans and Delegate decision outcome notices to clients
- Conduct monthly client surveys to gather feedback and improve services
- Maintaining currency of knowledge relating to aged care services both funded and non-funded
- Assistingwith continuous improvement frameworks to regularly evaluative administrative processes
To be successful in this role you’ll need:
- A genuine passion for providing high quality care to Older Australians
- Commitment to excellence in customer service, both to internal and external stakeholders
- Experience with My Aged Care portal and the aged care and/or community service sector(or transferable skills)
- Excellent communication skills, written, verbal and listening
- Excellent planning, organising and problem-solvingskills
- Willingness to apply for a Police Check
