Job summary

Central Australian Aboriginal Congress is seeking a Manager for the Link-Up Program in Alice Springs. You will lead the service delivery, manage programs, and collaborate with national teams to support families and Stolen Generation members within Central Australia and Barley region.

The role requires Aboriginal identification, leadership experience, and willingness to travel to remote locations. A tertiary Social Services qualification is preferred and a driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

  • Aboriginal descent and community acceptance is required.
  • Tertiary qualification in Social Services or equivalent leadership experience.
  • Experience in client-focused case management and knowledge of history of forcible removal of Aboriginal children.
  • Experience in program management, supervising a team, budgeting and reporting.
  • Ability to travel to remote locations and build a network of stakeholders.
  • Currently holds a valid Driver's license.

Responsibilities

  • Provide management and leadership to the Congress Link-Up Service and Territories Redress Scheme.
  • Lead program management and delivery across identified programs.
  • Collaborate with National Link-Up Services for cross-state activities.
  • Support Stolen Generation Members within Central Australia and Barley region.
