Job summary

Be Recruitment Group is seeking experienced Family Preservation Case Workers to join a newly established Aboriginal-led program in Western Sydney. You will deliver culturally safe, trauma-informed support to Aboriginal children, families and communities, working within a multidisciplinary team.

This permanent role offers full-time or part-time hours, salary of $105,577 plus super and salary packaging, and six weeks’ annual leave.

Qualifications

• Casework experience in family preservation, child protection, intensive family support or a related service.
• Sound understanding of trauma-informed practice and family-centred support.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work respectfully with Aboriginal children, families and communities.

Responsibilities

• Delivering intensive family preservation case management
• Completing family assessments, risk assessments and safety planning
• Developing family-led case plans and reviewing progress
• Undertaking home visits and providing community-based support
• Working collaboratively with Family Support Workers and external stakeholders
• Building trusted relationships with Aboriginal children, families and communities
• Maintaining accurate, timely and high-quality case notes and documentation
