Job summary

NSW Health is seeking an Aboriginal Cultural Capability Team Leader to guide a dedicated team and embed Aboriginal cultural capability, safety and inclusion across workforce and services.

The role leads strategic and operational work, partnering with executives and managers to deliver training and governance that strengthens cultural capability and respectful practice across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Identified position for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent with relevant tertiary qualification.
• Experience developing and delivering Aboriginal cultural capability training and workforce development.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach the Aboriginal Cultural Capability Team to drive organisation-wide change.
• Coordinate and support delivery of high-impact programs strengthening cultural capability.
• Governance, reporting and alignment with wider organisational goals.
• Lead delivery of Respecting the Difference training and ensure cultural safety in practice.
