Job summary

Southern NSW Local Health District seeks an Aboriginal Cultural Capability Facilitator to deliver Aboriginal cultural safety education across NSW Health, rooted in Aboriginal knowledges and community connections.

Based in St Leonards, the role supports reflective practice, supervision and wellbeing, collaborating with a Delivery Hub to tailor learning for a large, diverse health system and ensure culturally safe experiences.

Qualifications

• This is an identified Aboriginal position; applicants must be Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander and accepted as such in their local community.
• Experience delivering Aboriginal cultural safety education programs.
• Ability to work in emotionally complex learning environments and with reflective practice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Respecting the Difference and other Aboriginal cultural safety programs across NSW Health.
• Collaborate with facilitators, coaches and teams to ensure high-quality education delivery and continuous improvement.
• Engage with Aboriginal communities to reflect local protocols and priorities in learning content and evaluation processes.
