Job summary

Central Australian Aboriginal Congress seeks a Community Researcher to design and conduct culturally responsive research, working closely with the Congress Research team. You will engage Aboriginal community members and participants to support all stages from design to data collection, analysis and knowledge translation.

  • Is Aboriginal descent and accepted by the Aboriginal community.
  • Male-specified position; identifies as male.
  • Diploma level qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Extensive experience in research with strong ethics and data handling.
  • Strong understanding of community dynamics in central Australian Aboriginal context.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to engage stakeholders.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to remote locations.
