Job summary

Queensland Government Community Corrections is seeking a culturally capable practitioner to support case management for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander offenders. You will liaise with staff, build community connections, and promote culturally safe practices to help offenders reintegrate.

The role involves coordinating with Case Managers, facilitating brief interventions, and engaging with communities during NAIDOC Week events to strengthen relationships and service delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in culturally safe community work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
• Ability to liaise with Community Corrections staff to support case management.
• Commitment to reduce re-offending and support reintegration.
• Strong collaboration and reporting to District/Regional Managers.

Responsibilities
