Darling Downs Health is seeking a dedicated health professional to improve outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. Based in the South Burnett region, you will deliver culturally safe, person-centred care and build trust across diverse communities.
You will collaborate with teams, lead health promotion activities, and advocate for consumers to strengthen engagement with health services, contributing to better population health outcomes.
Based in the South Burnett region, you'll play an important role in improving health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people through culturally safe care, community engagement and strong partnerships across the health system.

Qualification in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care and eligibility to work in an identified role.
Experience supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people within health, community or wellbeing settings.
Strong communication, relationship-building and advocacy skills across community and professional environments.
Ability to work independently, prioritise effectively and contribute to coordinated care and positive service outcomes.
You’ll stand out from the crowd if you have experience delivering health promotion programs, mentoring others, or working across rural and regional communities, and/or additional training in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care Practice.
