Job summary

West Gippsland Healthcare Group in Warragul is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the Activity Based Funding (ABF) Unit. You will monitor NWAU targets, drive timely reporting and support coders, data analysts and clinicians to improve data quality.

You will bring expertise in clinical coding, DRGs and Casemix, with a track record in health information management and staff education. The role offers full-time hours with five weeks' annual leave and salary aligned to experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in clinical coding or ABF in the public hospital sector.
• Experience in Health Information Management.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Knowledge of privacy and confidentiality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the ABF Unit to monitor NWAU targets and ensure timely, accurate reporting.
• Provide support to coders, data analysts and clinicians to improve data quality.
• Drive training, auditing and education programs for staff.
• Collaborate with HIS and BI leaders to align ABF activities with organisational goals.
