Job summary

West Gippsland Healthcare Group is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the Activity Based Funding (ABF) Unit at Warragul Hospital in Victoria. Reporting to the Director Business Intelligence, you will drive reporting accuracy, support coders and clinicians, and monitor NWAU targets to ensure financial and data integrity.

The role offers permanent full-time hours with 5 weeks of annual leave and an optional Accrued Day Off, with a salary dependent on qualifications and experience.

Qualifications

• Experience working in clinical coding or ABF in the public hospital sector.
• Experience in Health Information Management.
• Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Activity Based Funding (ABF) Unit to monitor and achieve NWAU targets.
• Support coders, data analysts and clinicians in daily operations.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting with a focus on data quality improvements.
