Job summary

Empire Group on the Sunshine Coast is seeking a Senior Communications Advisor (AO6) to lead communications and stakeholder engagement for major infrastructure projects, including The Wave Stage 3 (Metro) and the Mooloolah River Interchange Upgrade.

You will partner with project teams, contractors and key stakeholders to develop and deliver engagement strategies, manage issues, and support positive community relationships.

• Proven experience in communications and stakeholder engagement within infrastructure, construction or major project environments.
• Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Experience managing issues and stakeholder risks in fast-paced environments.

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Senior Communications Advisor (AO6) to support the delivery of some of the Sunshine Coast's most significant infrastructure projects, including The Wave Stage 3 (Metro) and the Mooloolah River Interchange Upgrade.

Working within a collaborative Communications and Stakeholder Engagement team, you will partner with project teams, contractors and key stakeholders to develop and deliver communication and engagement strategies that support successful project outcomes and positive community relationships.

What You'll Be Doing

• Leading communications and stakeholder engagement activities for major infrastructure projects.
